Algorithmic Communication and the Digital Reconstruction of Literary Power——And the Issue of the Autonomy of AI Literature
Abstract: The transformation from "cultural capital" to "digital power" represents a new form of power representation in the literary field with the intervention of algorithmic dissemination. The "tailored" recommendations of algorithms possibly generate "information cocoons", virtual communities form implicit literary divisions, the intrinsic value justice of digit itself confers a more powerful persuasive effect, and the literary positioning formed by computational networks also creates a digital version of the "panopticon. " The literary representation of digital power follows the increasingly sophisticated evolutionary logic of modern power discourse, and it is also a continuation of the consumption consciousness that supports literary production. The chaotic variables and "algorithmic black box" it constructs leads this literary representation of power discourse towards a certain unpredictability. The possibility of this unpredictability in the future may be a challenge to the "autonomy" of human literary production, and may rewrite the genetic blueprint of human literary power to a certain extent.
