历史经验中的人本与信用——以近代钱业与信用贷款为例
Human-centered and Credit in Historical Experience— Based on the Old-style Chinese Private Banks with the Credit Loan in Modern Times

摘要: 传统商业信用贷款和以此为基础业务的钱业支撑着近代民间商业的金融活动。钱业的信贷业务基于一个以“人”为核心的信用机制,但这并不意味着随意、人情和非理性。钱业对业务风险的控制体现在对人的谨慎调查、对商情的审慎敏感、严格业务流程以及行业组织的约束。这些也是中国自19世纪末至20世纪30年代间钱业繁荣的基础。银行与钱业差异与矛盾的背后,是“人”与“物”在金融业中的不同历史经验的体现。19−20世纪单一的现代价值在经济实践中的扩张,造成了对以钱业为代表的传统经验的不解和忽视,由此也可以理解中国近代经济转型的艰难与复杂。Abstract: The financial supporting for private Modern Chinese Commerce business was based on the traditional commercial credit loans running by old-style Chinese private banks. This credit businesses from these banks were on a human-centered credit mechanism. But this was not mean arbitrarily, sensibility and irrational. These banks were controlled the risk of credit businesses by diligent inquiring, cautious on the business situation, strictly regulate and the limitations from industry organizations, these were also the foundation for the prosperity of the old-style Chinese private banks industry from the late 19th century to the 1930s. The differences and contradictions between modern banks and old-style Chinese private banks were the different historical experiences which was focused “people” or “capital” in the financial industry. The only-one modern value in economic practice was popular in the 19th to 20th centuries, which was the reason why the misunderstand and ignore was happened to the traditional experience as the old-style Chinese private banks industry. This also means the difficulty and complexity of China’s modern economic transformation.
