Abstract: Bobo’s historical narration has been consistent since the years of Longsheng (407-413) and Fengxiang (413-418), which is not the result of the compilation of Xia imperial court’s history in the years of Zhenxing (419-425). With the combination of the historical identity of “Da Yu’s descendants” and the regional identity of “moving northward to You and Shuo”, Bobo created the historical context of “Xia Dynasty - You Shuo” which coexisted with Yin, Zhou, Qin, Han, Wei and Jin Dynasties, and embodied the coexistence of the two in time as the spatial opposition between You Shuo and Yong Yu. Based on the spatial consistency between Jingbei and Lingbei, which is described in the Historical Records, Bobo used the historical narrative of “Xia Dynasty - You Shuo” to unite the people of Lingbei. In addition, the historical narrative of “moving northward to You and Shuo” and Tongwan capital were related. Through the construction of capital city, Bobo’s political power was endowed with the legitimacy of surpassing Zhou, Han, Wei and Jin Dynasties. However, the historical view opposite to Yong Yu created the dual pattern of “Capital of the North” and “Southern Government” after occupying Guanzhong, which evolved into the chaos of Prince helianruo in the six years of Zhenxing. At the same time, the Northern Wei Dynasty started the strategic layout of extermination of Xia Regime.
