The Body of Labor, the Mind of Capital——Self Capitalization and the Formation of the Laborers Ideology in Late Neoliberalism

Self-capitalization of laborers is a historical process that has lasted from the industrial era to the present.Self-capitalization in the industrial era is represented as “personalized capital”,which mainly happens to the capital owners.In the era of consumption,the phenomenon of laborers’ self-capitalization began to appear,which is manifested in the accumulation and utilization of multiple capital such as human capital and social capital by laborers.In the financial era,the self-capitalization of laborers is manifested in their operation as financial capital in order to realize the multiplication of self-value.In the continuous change of political economy,laborers have developed from opposing the capital logic to actively accepting and even actively imitating the capital logic.Their level of self-capitalization has deepened,and the capital control has become more powerful and hidden.
