Capital:Towards Historical Materialism—— A Study of Forme,Fonction,Structure Dans Le Capital by Lefebvre

In Lefebvre’s study on Capital,he saw the historical materialism in methodology,which is the structure of generativity in the diachronic schema that combines historical generativity with structure,and this so-called historically generated structure is the mode of production.This is precisely the scientific method of historical materialism that Marx upholds in Capital.It was the finding of this important methodological clue that necessarily prompted Lefebvre’s own methodological shift.Whether he consciously realised it or not,by looking at a social cross-section from the historically occurring mode of production and thinking about an irrational socio-historical phenomenon,he would also gradually escape from the abstract domination of humanistic discourse.
