Abstract: The advent of mobile society not only fundamentally challenges the traditional assumptions and governance model of " region”, but also pushes the relationship between " regional” and " mobility” to the forefront of the global governance reform. Since 1980s, mobility and regionality are interrelated in theoretical transformation of regional space, and also interweave mutually towards a new governance model in regional practice−mobility governance. Regional space theory has fully reendowed the region with mobile property and further promoted the practical reform of regional governance. Mobility governance does not radically subvert " region”, but brings a new paradigm of regional governance.
