The Common Value of Human Being in Context of Karl Marx’s Theory of World History

The common value of human being is a totally new value system proposed by Chinese Communists based on a deep understanding of the grand trend of development of world history in new era. This value system takes Marx’s theory of world history as ideological foundation, the whole of human being as the subject of value, the realization of the whole of human being’s wish for a better life as the aim of value. It not only stimulates the epoch vitality of Marx’s theory of world history, but also sets foot on that theory steadfastly, and has won its historical necessity, reality necessity, and the rightfulness of morality and justice in the process of originating, developing and practicing. Although this value system would meet with various difficulties and challenges for extensive recognition and holistic realization of the whole human being, it is no doubt a value system with creative contribution for promoting the progress of human civilization proposed by non-Western world since the formation of world history. It is a value revolution and spiritual emancipation with the significance of epoch-making in world history, and it has sufficient theoretical reason to become a realistic value scale for today’s human society in seeking to realize freedom and comprehensive development.
