Exploring the Formation of Zhuang Zi Thoughts from the Image of Trees——The Official in Lacquer Garden and the Shaping of Zhuang Zi Thoughts
Abstract: Zhuang Zhou once served as an official in the lacquer garden.He spent time with trees day and night.Wood was a source of inspiration for philosophical thinking.From his observation of wood,Zhuang Zhou developed a profound understanding and critical spirit about life and the politics of monarchs and ministers.His outlook on life,values,and world view the emergence and formation of etiquette are closely related to his experience of observing trees.From the perspective of observing trees,later generations can learn that the thought of “Zhuangzi” is an important branch of the Taoist school,and it does have an origin relationship that cannot be ignored with Zhuang Zhou’s identity as a “lacquer garden official”.
