Abstract: Market integration is the foundation for the development of the Yangtze River Delta’s high-quality integration. Implementation of this national strategic plan should begin with the integration of regional markets in the YRD. The integration of regional markets can help form a large and unified market. Based on the strong domestic market, we can change the model of China's economic globalization and develop innovative economies. Turning from competition to cooperation among local governments, building, improving and innovating regional governance mechanisms in the existing administrative system, is the most effective way to promote the high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. Towards this end, we should use competition policy as a means to promote the integration, harmonize other economic policies on the basis of competition policy, and create a harmonious policy environment for market integration.
