Basic Issues in Artology

Although the subdisciplines of artology are not yet announced, it has been widely accepted that art theory, art history, and art criticism are its important components. In view of the fact that there have been many discussion in general about artology, this essay attempts to disassemble the basic issue of artology into issues of art theory, art history, and art criticism, in order to solve the basic problem of the upper discipline by clarifying the problems of the lower disciplines.
