摘要: 中国特色社会主义民主是一种全方位民主。全方位民主是民主政治的本质特征，并且只有在无产阶级统治下才具备实现的可能。西方国家以竞争性选举为中心的政治民主只是一种有限的、狭隘的民主。全方位民主并不局限于政治领域的民主，具有广泛性、全领域和全过程的特征，是政治民主、经济民主、生活民主的有机统一。全方位民主内生于中国自身的社会历史文化之中，而非简单的舶来品。一方面，全方位民主来源于人民政治，以人民为中心确立基本价值取向；另一方面，全方位民主又是实现人民政治最理想的政治建构。全方位民主的价值来自于人民政治，同时它又是人民政治的实现。Abstract: The socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics is an all-dimensions democracy. As the essence of democracy, all-dimensions democracy would be possible only under the rule of proletariat. Political democracy which centered in election is a kind of limited democracy. All-dimensions democracy is a unity of political democracy, economic democracy and social life democracy with its comprehensive, all-fields and all-process attributes. All-dimensions democracy is inherent in the social history of China for it is rooted in the people’s politics. The socialist democracy is the organic combination of elective democracy and consultative democracy.
