The Construction Significance of Jurisprudence to Chinese Philosophy and Social Science System

It requires the theoretical support of philosophy and social sciences system to advance the rule of law in China. However, there is a lack of basic research on ruling by law in the Chinese philosophy and social science system; the jurisprudence which shapes the rule of law has not appeared, and the chiefly mission of the construction of the theoretical system has not been linked to the modernization of ruling by law. Rule of law is the basic goal of social transformation in China. It needs theoretical support and methodological guidance by the philosophy and social science system including law. The jurisprudence with the responsibility of advancing the rule of law should become one of the elements of the Chinese philosophy and social science system. The construction of the system of philosophy and social sciences in China needs to pay attention to, demonstrate and shape the principle of ruling by law beyond the combination theory; on the basis of distinguishing the epistemology and methodology, it provides the theoretical support for the construction of the Chinese rule of law discourse system.
