New Human Beings’ Born: On the Construction of Yan’an Literature Paradigm

The Talk Mao Zedong gave on Yan’an Literature and Art Forum In 1942, Which had authority on the construction of paradigm of Yan’an literature. But the paradigm of Yan’an literature was not only the paradigm of literature, but also the part of the strategy of Anti-Japanese and founding a new state ,was the embodiment of CCP’s “Yan’an Road” at that stage. The completion of Yan’an literature paradigm was affected by many factors, and created new social phenomenon, especially new modern figure of labourer and hero. On one side the Talk and Rectification Movement had founded the requirement of the organization of Yan’an intellectual, on the other side the object reality compelled them to be organized. Yan’an writer tried their best on the way of “worker, peasant, and soldier’s literature”. From model figure to new type of human beings character, performed the stage from institution founding to literary creation, so the construction of new ideology completed its period from political practice to symbolic production.
