Practicability and Foresight of the CPC’s Literary and Artistic Policies of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression

The CPC has always attached great importance to the work of literature and art.After the Lugou Bridge Incident,it constantly adjusted the literary and artistic policies from the realistic needs,changes in the situation and development trends of the comprehensive resistance against Japan.From the identification and unique interpretation of “fighting the enemies and rebuilding the country” to the raising of the new-democratic banner,and then to the advocacy and practice of the direction of workers,peasants and soldiers,it showed a strong pragmatic color and forward-looking vision.The CPC’s literary and artistic policies effectively responded to the call of the times,guiding Yan’an,the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region and various democratic base areas of resistance against Japan to create vibrant people’s literature and art,and promoting and witnessing the historical process from national liberation to social liberation.
