Leaving Home,Returning Home or Building Home——A Theoretical Discussion on “Home” from the Perspective of the Historical Changes in the Relationship between “Women and Family” in Contemporary France

In recent years,there has been a heated debate surrounding “what is home”.However,in this debate,women are often overlooked.This is precisely the lack of perspective by combing through the tumultuous history of the relationship between women and families in contemporary France over the past two hundred years.This article aims to explore the reasons behind their abandonment,return,and reconstruction of “home”.The goal is to delve deeper into the complex implications of the concept of “home” in their thinking and actions.French women's choice and dilemma between “abandoning home” and “returning home” stemmed from different interpretations of “home” based on its narrative and its functions.But when legal policies give them the right of being out of family and the conditions of “having a home”,the “building a home” that meets individual needs has used “practice” as a guide to generate a new definition of “home”.
