Abstract
Compared with the literary language in Chinese Mainland, the most important feature of Southeast Asian Chinese literary language is that it retains the expression system of northern Chinese dialects as a whole, while it also has the unique charm of southern Chinese dialects, which is clearly reflected in vocabulary, grammar and other aspects. In addition, because it is located in the expression systems of national languages and western languages in different countries in Southeast Asia,Chinese words are mixed into many local languages and western languages, and deeply embedded in the language system of Chinese, creating a multilingual mixed state of Southeast Asian Chinese literary language, presenting aesthetic characteristics different from Chinese Mainland literary language, though the Southeast Asian Chinese literary language seemed non-standard or even rustic,it truly and vividly conveying the rich and complex lifestyle of the Chinese people in Southeast Asia, reflecting the strong inclusiveness and environmental adaptability of Chinese culture,it is a literary treasure worth cherishing and in-depth research.
