How to Evaluate: The Criticism Standards’ Foundation and Value Analysis of Chinese Modern Popular Literature

Different literary types need different criticism standards. It is obviously inapplicable that we evaluate Chinese modern and contemporary popular literature with the New Literatures’ criticism standards. We should found the criticism standards and thinking path of " popularity” if we want to evaluate the value, good or bad of Chinese modern and contemporary popular literature, which is the entrance to found the criticism standards of Chinese modern and contemporary popular literature. Tradition, culture and market are three standards of the value analysis of Chinese modern popular literature, which show the characteristics of it. We can make clear the special contributions of Chinese modern popular literature in modern China, analyze its value and defects clearly and evaluate it scientifically if we enter the right " entrance” and found scientific criticism standards. Based on it, the criticism standards could be established scientificly and effectively.
