New Mission and New Narrative: The Discourse Creation of Modern Civilization of Chinese Nation

In the new era and new journey,building the modern civilization of Chinese nation is a major mission of the Communist Party of China.The modern civilization of Chinese nation has elevated Chinese-style modernization from a practical level to a cultural level,revaluing the value of Chinese civilization for the times.From the perspective of discourse construction,the new discourse on the modern civilization of Chinese nation has created new concepts and themes,and formed a corresponding cluster of concepts around the foundation,motivation,meaning and goals of the discourse,interpreting the narrative vision of the Communist Party of China in building a cultural power.On the basis of understanding the core concepts,it can be concluded that the structure of the new discourse of modern civilization of Chinese nation mainly includes three key elements: the ontology of Chinese culture,the matrix of the people,and the carrier in the objective environment.The modern civilization of Chinese nation has become a reality in the process of “two combinations”.The new discourse developed based on the “two combinations” also has three forms: concept,truth and practice,conveying different ideological information to the audience.Constructing a new discourse for the modern civilization of Chinese nation needs to be developed from many aspects such as ideas,mechanisms,and forms: it is necessary to strengthen the cohesion of the truth while forging the past and the present,to enhance the appeal of the discourse while integrating China and foreign countries,to enhance the attractiveness of the discourse while clarifying the source,and to maintain integrity.Expand the influence of discourse through innovation.
