Abstract: Tokyo National Review, a revolutionary newspaper founded in Japan, provides us with rare new materials and a new perspective of “revolutionary ideology transmission” for studying the early political activities of the Communist Party of China in Japan, especially during the national revolution. Around the May 30th Movement, Huang Keqian, Liang Xiyi, Li Zhaolong, Wang Shusheng and other CPC members in Japan used the Tokyo National Review as the media to explain the revolution and the world situation, rediscover and explain the Chinese revolutionary history under the logical framework of resisting the aggression and oppression of imperialist powers, striving to construct the discourse of the “legitimacy” of the national revolution. They used the May 30th Movement to stimulate national feelings, shape the identity of the class, guide and create public opinion by means of fierce speech and “localization” mobilization strategy. “In the name of the Kuomintang” is an important feature of the discourse construction and public opinion mobilization of the CPC members traveling to Japan around May 30th Movement, using Tokyo National Review as the media. It is also the unique value of this revolutionary journal led by the CPC members traveling to Japan as a case of the early political communication of the Communist Party of China. With the increasingly fierce political struggle between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China, this special mode of political communication is difficult to sustain.
