Historical Mirror of Nationalism and the Fate of Old-style Literature in Modern China

During the Anti-Japanese War, the “National Poetry Forum” magazine, which mainly contains old-style poems, was very influential, but the magazine has been hidden in the later study of literary history. Literary and non-literary factors have contributed to the fate of “National Poetry Forum” in academia. Through the study of “National Poetry Forum”, we can see the development of nationalism in modern China. On the other hand, from the perspective of nationalism, it can be found the historical sample meaning of “National Poetry Forum”, and that the magazine contains some metaphor of the fate of old literature.
