摘要: 由国人撰写的第一部《耶稣传》(1935)是赵紫宸对《圣经》中的耶稣生平进行释魅求索的重要尝试。它以耶稣的人格形象作为基督教之精华和原点加以想象阐发,从五四启蒙思想与欧洲自由主义神学中汲取理性与科学话语,将耶稣祛魅为一位非神话式的历史人物;同时通过由宗教经验为本而构成的“尚友法”为耶稣的神秘意识状态及其独特人格存魅,并以五四之后日益激猛的爱国话语为主调,将耶稣塑造为富有时代魅力的人格救国者。赵紫宸学贯中西,他的《耶稣传》既接续了欧洲现代神学传统,又运用了儒家思想资源。儒家思想本身蕴含着的理性主义暗合了欧洲现代自由主义神学掀起的对《圣经》文本和教会权威的批判,而对人格进行伦理化的诠释更是中国儒家特长。质言之,具有鲜明中国特色的“赵氏耶稣”实则仍是儒家圣人崇拜中的那位革命者素王。Abstract: The first Life of Jesus(1935) written by a Chinese author represents Zhao Zichen’s significant attempt to explore the life of Jesus in the Bible.It interprets Jesus’ character as the essence and origin of Christianity,draws rational and scientific discourse from the May Fourth Enlightenment thought and European liberal theology,and demythologizes Jesus into a historical figure.At the same time,through the “Shangyou Fa”(“尚友法”) based on religious experience,it retains the charm of Jesus’ mystical consciousness and unique character.Furthermore,with the increasingly fierce patriotic discourse as the main theme,it shapes Jesus into a charismatic savior of the times.As a master good at both Chinese and Western culture,Zhao Zichen continues the European modern theological tradition in his Life of Jesus while also utilizing Confucian resources.The rationalism inherent in Confucianism itself coincides with the criticism of the Biblical text and church authority initiated by European modern liberal theology,while the ethical interpretation of personality is a particular strength of Confucianism.In essence,the “Zhao’s Jesus” with distinct Chinese characteristics is still the revolutionary sage in the Confucian tradition.
