Abstract
It is normally accepted that the New Text Confucianism in late Qing Dynasty differs from the Han Approach in Qianlong and Jiaqing Period and Zhuang Cunyu is the origin initiator of New Text Confucianism School. However, Liu Fenglu, whose maternal grandfather is Zhuang Cunyu, did not acknowledge the influence on Gongyang Studies from Zhuang. Moreover, the research approach and academic orientation are apparently different by comparing those representative literary books. Therefore, this article analyzes the constructed genealogy of Gongyang Studies in late Qing period and the discourse transformation behind it
