Abstract
Based on the perspective of the regional history of Eastern Eurasia, this paper studies the changes in the power structure between the Liao Dynasty,Song Dynasty,Western Xia Dynasty,Goryeo,as well as Gaochang Uighur Dynasty, the Eastern and Western Qarakhnid Dynasties and Ghaznavid Dynasty of the Western RegionS,which shows the formation, connotation and characteristics of the world order of Liao Dynasty. The eastern Eurasian world order constructed by the Liao Dynasty had a different historical form from Professor John King Fairbank’s theory of the “tribute system” in East Asia, which reflected the multi-compound eastern Eurasian world order constructed by the Liao Dynasty, with the Liao Dynasty as the center of the order, the suzerain-vassal relationship as the basis, and the coexistence of neighborly systems. The world order constructed under the vision of the Liao Dynasty also reflects the ability and influence of the Chinese nation, including the Liao Dynasty,in shaping the historical and civilizational forms of the eastern Eurasian region and in promoting the process of the world order in a pattern of pluralism and unity.
