Abstract: Aesthetic education, as an important element of human development, is an integral part of human development. At present, aesthetic education, which focuses on art education, especially elegant art, has some limitations. Introducing design into the field of aesthetic education can expand the boundaries of aesthetic education and become an important supplement to art education. Design can integrate life, art and technology. The integration and openness of design can open up more possibilities for aesthetic education. The involvement of design in aesthetic education has its important significance different from art. Introducing the cultivation of sense of design into aesthetic education as the basic of design literacy can enrich the connotation of aesthetic education, deepen the perception of beauty. The humanistic spirit of design is in line with the inherent humanistic nature of aesthetic education and the ultimate goal of cultivating personality.
