On the Origin of the CPC’s Thoughts of Governance of China

  • The CPC’s thought of governance of China is not only derived from its “partial governance” in the revolutionary period and “comprehensive governance” since 1949, but also from the revolutionary practice in the initial period of the party. The revolutionary action of CPC in this period contains the ideological origin of governance of China. For the CPC, there is something in common between the simple revolution and the governance of China, that is, they are unified in the value attribute of the Marxist party and belong to the large-scale collective action.Under the premise of accurately grasping the current situation and scientifically defining the problems, the early Chinese Communists introduced scientific revolutionary theory, established the United Front and promoted the party’s construction. These effective revolutionary actions contained the early thought of the party’s governance of China, these are the thinking method of seeking truth from facts, the theoretical guidance of Marxism, the action strategy of the United Front and the fundamental guarantee of the party’s construction. All of these have a direct impact on the formation of thought and the development of practice of governance of China in the subsequent period of revolution, construction and reform.
