A Study on Lu Bu of Liao Dynasty from the Perspective of Cultural Identity in Central Plains

  • As a chariot and horse ceremonial guard for emperors, nobles, and ministers when they go out,the Lu Bu(“卤簿”) is a symbol of state power in ancient society and a manifestation of the materialization of imperial power. There is currently little academic discussion on the related issues of the Liao Dynasty Lu Bu,and there is still insufficient systematic research on this issue. This article attempts to explore the development and evolution of the Liao Dynasty Lu Bu from the source and their vehicle form, and at the same time focuses on the issue of the Liao Dynasty Lu Bu's identification with Chinese cultural identity in different periods.Based on this, this study aims to enrich the research on the formation and development of the Chinese national community through the interpretation and discussion of historical literature and archaeological materials of this period.
